One Way Eleven is a collaborative games studio brand, operated by Wowsystems Informática, Lda., a company incorporated in Portugal (“Company”, “we”, “us”, “our”), with registered office at Rua da Queimada de Cima n.33, 1º, 9000-065 Funchal, VAT Number (NIPC): PT511281897.

Wowsystems Informática, Lda. acts as the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer.

2.1 Personal Data You Provide

We may collect personal data that you voluntarily provide, including:

Providing personal data is voluntary. However, failure to provide certain information may prevent us from responding to your enquiry or processing your request.

 When you use our website, we may automatically collect:

  • Pages visited and interactions

This data is used to keep the site running, to investigate errors, and to detect and block attacks.

Analytic data is separate and is only collected if you consent. See section 5.

When you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect:

  • First name (optional)
  • IP address and subscription timestamp (for consent verification and security purposes)

We use this data to send occasional:

  • Updates
  • Exclusive content related to our games

Our communications may include promotional content related to our games.

Emails are sent from team@onewayeleven.com.

We use MailerLite (UAB MailerLite, Lithuania) to manage subscriptions.

You can withdraw your consent at any time by:

  • Clicking the unsubscribe link in the footer of any email
  • Contacting us at info@onewayeleven.com for questions regarding your personal data, access requests, or deletion requests

The withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal. 

You must be at least 13 years old to subscribe. See section 13.

 

  1. COOKIES 

 Our Cookie Policy sets out the cookies placed on this site, who places them and how long they last.

Functional cookies – from WordPress, Complianz and Wordfence – make the site work, remember your cookie choices and protect the site from attacks. We place these without consent.

Everything else is placed if you allow it through our cookie banner: Google Analytics, Google Fonts, and YouTube. Google Fonts and YouTube are served by Google and receive your IP address. Embedded trailers from YouTube do not load until you consent. If you allow it, YouTube may set cookies used for advertising and retargeting. Google’s privacy policy applies to what it receives, and we get no advertising revenue from it.

You can refuse non-essential cookies, and withdraw your consent at any time, through the banner.

  1. JOB APPLICATIONS

 We may receive spontaneous job applications via email.

In this context, we may process:

  • Email
  • CV
  • Professional Experience
  • Portfolio
  • Any additional information you provide

Legal basis:

Retention:

 We retain candidate data for up to 12 months, unless:

  • A longer period is required by law
  • You consent to future opportunities

You may request deletion at any time.

  1. SHARING YOUR DATA

We may share personal data with service providers who process it on our behalf, under contract, and only on our instructions: our website hosting provider, our email provider, MailerLite for the newsletter, and Google for analytics where you have consented.

We may also share data if required by law. We do not sell your personal data.

You can ask us to identify any provider by writing to info@onewayeleven.com.

  1. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS

Some of our service providers may process data outside the European Economic Area (EEA).

Where this happens, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as:

  • Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.
  • Google LLC is self-certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

  1. DATA RETENTION

We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy:

  • Newsletter data/marketing communications: until you unsubscribe, plus a short period afterwards to record that you did
  • Contact emails: retained for as long as necessary to handle the request and maintain relevant communications, and for a reasonable period thereafter, depending on the nature of the interaction
  • Job applications: up to 12 months, unless you consent to future opportunities
  • Server and security logs: up to 12 months
  • Analytics data: up to 14 months

In all cases, we ensure that personal data is not kept longer than necessary and is periodically reviewed.

Under GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Rectify inaccurate data
  • Request deletion
  • Restrict processing

  • Object to processing
  • Withdraw consent at any time

The withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the security od data transmitted over the internet.

  1. CHILDREN

This website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.

You must be at least 13 years old to subscribe to our newsletter or to send us personal data. This follows Article 16 of Portuguese Law 58/2019, which sets 13 as the age at which a minor may consent to information society services. Below that age, consent must be given by a parent or guardian.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe that a child in your care has given us personal data, write to info@onewayeleven.com and we will delete it.
